本书的研究对象是新文化运动时期梁启超派学人群的新文化方案和实践，以及通过梁启超与梁漱溟、“学衡派”等新文化运动中的文化保守阵营的互动关系,探讨新文化运动非主流一脉的实然状态，进而全面把握新文化运动时期文化保守阵营的概况。

本书通过梁启超在新文化运动中的学术实践活动，阐述梁启超对中国现代教育“全人格”理念和“事上磨炼”培养途径的设想，剖析梁启超未能完成现代学术体系建设的原因，以厘清梁启超与新文化运动中的文化保守阵营的互动关系，尤其关注梁启超和梁漱溟、梁启超和“学衡派”之间的学术思想异同，亲疏离合。本书对于把握新文化运动中的右翼思潮和当时的思想版图,进一步考察和评价梁启超在新文化运动中的位置和贡献有一定的价值和意义。

The research object of this book is the new cultural scheme and practice of Liang Qichao school during the New Culture Movement period, and through the interaction relationship between Liang Qichao and Liang Shuming, "Xueheng School" and other cultural conservative camps in the new cultural movement, it discusses the actual state of the non-mainstream line of the new culture movement, and then comprehensively grasps the overview of the cultural conservative camp during the New Culture Movement period. Through Liang Qichao's academic practice activities in the New Culture Movement, this book expounds Liang Qichao's ideas on the concept of "whole personality" and the cultivation method of "tempering in things" in modern Chinese education, analyzes the reasons why Liang Qichao has failed to complete the construction of the modern academic system, and clarifies the interaction between Liang Qichao and the culturally conservative camp in the New Culture Movement, especially focusing on the similarities and differences in academic thought between Liang Qichao and Liang Shuming, Liang Qichao and the "Xueheng School". This book has certain value and significance for grasping the right-wing ideological trend in the New Culture Movement and the ideological map at that time, and further investigating and evaluating Liang Qichao's position and contribution in the New Culture Movement.
