Yue culture is the root of Zhejiang culture and an important part of Chinese excellent traditional culture. Therefore, strengthening the study of Yue culture, expanding its influence and enhancing its reputation is also a proper part of building a philosophical and social science with Chinese characteristics, Chinese style and Chinese flavor. The thirteenth series of Chinese Yue Studies is edited for this purpose. The articles in this series can be roughly divided into two themes, one is the study of famous people in Yuezhi, with a large time span from Song Dynasty to contemporary times, which fully demonstrates the long history of “the township of famous people in Jianhu and Yuezhi”; the other is the study of modern economy and culture of Zhejiang, which is one of the focuses of Yuezhi culture research. Many of the articles in this series are contributed by famous scholars, such as Prof. Gan Chunsong, Prof. Zhu Yilu, and Prof. Sun Shangen, all of whom are famous scholars in their respective fields. Therefore, the overall academic quality of the articles in this series is high.
