Starting from Marx's idea of the dual development of world history as a whole, this book discusses Marx's theory of the non-capitalist development of Eastern societies and the historical necessity of the road of socialism with Chinese characteristics; it also elaborates on Marx's theory of the historical logic of the development of Western capitalism, which involves the alienation of labour into capital, and the re-transformation of labour into a new social form by abandoning the alienated nature and form of capital.Based on Marx's idea of "the coexistence, struggle and fusion of two contradictory aspects into a new category", the book discusses the general trend of the overall dual development of world history towards a community of human destiny, which is a new feature, new trend and new law of contemporary world history.The book explores many of Marx's important ideas that are seldom understood, especially the 1847 idea of the substance of dialectical movement, which deserves serious scholarly reflection, study and research.
