A Comparison of Marx and Cohen's Ideas on Justice
With "freedom", "equality" and "ownership" as the main lines, this book aims to explain and compare Marx and Cohen's criticism of liberal (capitalist) injustice, and then construct their own theories of socialist justice. Among them, it focuses on clarifying that Cohen is based on contemporary reality, boldly questions Marxist theories of self-ownership and exploitation, and at the same time develops Marx's idea of justice, responds to the challenge of contemporary liberalism, criticizes and absorbs the reasonable resources of contemporary liberalism, and explores the basic justice of socialism. This book explores from four levels: first, it explores the origins of Marx and Cohen's critique of liberalism, then focuses on Marx's and Cohen's critique of new and old liberalism, then explores Marx's and Cohen's construction of socialist justice, and finally briefly reviews Marx's and Cohen's two ideas of justice.
On the one hand, the publication of this book will help domestic scholars understand the latest development of contemporary Western political philosophy, and on the other hand, it will help us to construct the theory of social justice in the middle and Chinese environment and solve the problem of justice in China in combination with the reality of China, so it has high academic value and practical significance.
