以庭审互联网直播为主要表现形式的庭审公开，是人民法院的一项重要举措，也是中国司法正在进行的伟大实践。本书系受最高人民法院有关部门委托，对人民法院2017年庭审公开工作进行第三方评估的研究成果。对此次庭审公开评估的原则、对象、方法进行了详细论证，对2017年全国法院庭审公开工作的基本状况、重大进步进行了客观呈现和分析，总结了中国庭审公开的成绩和经验，指出了其缺陷与不足，并提出了改进意见与建议。对各级法院实务工作者、司法改革研究者以及关注中国法治进程的各界人士，都有一定参考价值。

Abstract: Openness is an important feature of modern justice and an important embodiment of judicial people's nature. In recent years, the people's courts have made significant progress in judicial openness by building four major platforms for judicial openness. In particular, with the completion and opening of the open trial platform, the people's courts' trial openness work has made rapid progress, which has not only brought China's judicial openness to a new stage, but also brought judicial openness to a new level for all mankind. Entrusted by the Supreme People's Court, Professor Zhi Zhenfeng of the Institute of Law of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences led a research team to conduct a third-party evaluation of the public trial work of courts nationwide in 2017. As the research results of the third-party evaluation of the people's court trial openness in 2017, this book makes a detailed demonstration of the principles, objects and methods of the open trial assessment, objectively presents and analyzes the basic situation and major progress of the national court trial openness work in 2017, summarizes the achievements and experience of China's trial openness, points out its shortcomings and deficiencies, and puts forward suggestions and suggestions for improvement.
