本书分上、下篇，上篇以雄州崛起为核心阐述隋唐五代时期苏州地区经济发展的过程，下篇以区域秩序稳定为核心阐述隋唐五代苏州政局稳定发展的过程，重心在于探讨促进大族文化与苏州政局稳定之间的关系。其中，经济发展是政局稳定的重要体现，而政局稳定又是经济发展的基本前提。

This book is divided into two parts: the first part focuses on the rise of Xiongzhou to explain the process of economic development in the Suzhou region during the Sui, Tang, and Fifth Dynasties, and the second part focuses on the process of political stability in Suzhou during the Sui, Tang, and Fifth Dynasties, with the focus on the promotion of the culture of the great clans and the stability of the political situation in Suzhou. In the second part, we focus on the process of economic development in Suzhou during the Sui-Tang and Fifth Dynasties, with a focus on the development of political stability in the region.
