Research on Production Efficiency of Low Carbon Agriculture Development in China
This book takes low-carbon agricultural productivity as a starting point, and carries out a systematic exploration around its time-series evolution law, spatial differentiation characteristics and influence mechanism. The study finds that China's low-carbon agricultural productivity growth is generally slow, and mainly relies on the progress of agricultural frontier technology rather than the improvement of agricultural technical efficiency; at the same time, it shows a more obvious spatial imbalance, i.e., the highest in the east, the second highest in the center, and the lowest in the west, and at present, the regional disparity is gradually narrowing and showing the characteristics of decentralized regional agglomeration. Although the factors affecting the productivity of low-carbon agriculture in China are in constant change, they are not very relevant to industrial structural adjustment; and the adoption or otherwise of low-carbon agricultural technology in production practice is mainly affected by the personal characteristics of the head of household. In the process of promoting the development of low-carbon agriculture, it is necessary to focus on the construction and improvement of the macro policy system and the meso synergistic mechanism, as well as to pay attention to the preference of farmers for low-carbon agricultural production technologies.
