Changes in the International System and China's Strategic Choice
The articles in this book are from the 2016 issue of World Economic Research. The book is divided into four topics. The “Belt and Road” topic mainly proposes suggestions on how China can learn from the experience of Western countries in developing international markets and effectively respond to the risks and challenges of implementing the “Belt and Road” initiative. The international political hotspot topic focuses on international hotspot events, analyzes the uncertain and volatile characteristics of international politics and economics, and expressed views on what strategic choices China should make as the international system undergoes profound changes. The global governance topic expressed unique views on how China can transform from a participant to a leader in some areas of global governance. The topic of China's strategic choices focuses on China's role in the world and provides suggestions for solving outstanding problems facing China's development.
