Organised by the International Cooperation Bureau of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), this book is co-authored by renowned scholars and international development cooperation experts from home and abroad, and provides an in-depth analysis of the rich connotation of the global development initiatives and shares useful experiences in promoting development from the perspectives of economic recovery, poverty alleviation, scientific and technological innovation, and partnership.

The Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) invited renowned scholars and international development cooperation experts from home and abroad to share their understanding of the Global Development Initiative (GDI) and share their experience in the implementation of the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development (UN 2030), focusing on the four themes of economic recovery and growth momentum, poverty alleviation and inclusive development, scientific and technological innovation and sustainable development, and global partnership for development and win-win co-operation.It will share its understanding of the Global Development Initiative, exchange experiences on the implementation of the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, explore ways to cooperate in advancing the cause of global development, and provide intellectual support for moving towards stronger, greener and healthier global development.
