Study on the Institutional Changes of Entrepreneurialization of Media Organizations in New China
In the transformation from a planned economy to a market economy in China, the changes in the enterprise system of media organizations have gone through the initial experimental stage of enterprise reform in the early stage of the founding of New China, the stage of enterprise management of public institutions, the stage of collectivization and the stage of enterprise transformation. In this process of change, the intentions of the Party and the government determine the direction of changes in media organizations. Changes in the institutional environment have prompted media organizations to carry out adaptive changes, so that they can make marginal breakthroughs in the original system with a proactive attitude, and finally obtain the desired rights. In the process of institutional change, when the demands of primary action groups are responded to by secondary action groups, it contributes to institutional change. At the same time, in the process of institutional change of media organization corporatization, it also shows the path dependence of institutional change, and the commonality of the change process accompanied by multiple interest group games. In addition, from the analysis of institutional performance, it can be seen that the institutional changes of media organizations have promoted the improvement of economic and social benefits.
