自启动“全国社区治理和服务创新实验”以来，在民政部的关心指导和大力支持下，湖北省委、省政府与武汉市委、市政府及其他职能部门深入贯彻党关于创新社会治理，发展社会工作事业的各项部署，带领武昌区委、区政府及相关部门，凝聚辖区社会组织、社区居委会与社区居民等多元力量共同推进社区治理与服务创新的实验工作，探索出了一系列具有启发性、独具武昌特色的典型经验与社区治理新路径。
