How Serbia Perceives the Belt and Road Initiative and China—CEEC Cooperation
The China-Central and Eastern Europe Research Institute Non-Profit Limited Liability Company was registered by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) in Budapest, the capital of Hungary, in April 2017, and is the first new type of Chinese think tank independently registered in Europe. Adhering to the principle of pragmatic cooperation, the China-Central and Eastern Europe Research Institute steadily and actively seeks to cooperate with think tanks in Central and Eastern European countries and, with Hungary as its backbone, carries out academic and scientific research activities in Central and Eastern Europe as well as in Europe as a whole, such as field research, collaborative research, joint publication, staff training, and lecture series.
This book is a collection of research results on “Belt and Road”, China-CEE cooperation, and China-Serbia relations written by Serbian scholars through an open call for papers by the China-CEE Research Institute, and it is the first publication of the China-CEE Research Institute on Central and Eastern European Countries in Perspective, and it is the first book of the China-CEE Research Institute on Central and Eastern European Countries in Perspective. It is one of the parts of a series of think-tank reports on “One Belt, One Road” and China-CEE cooperation from the perspective of the target countries, providing original research results for the study of “One Belt, One Road”. The report is a part of a series of think tank reports on “Belt and Road” and “China-CEE Cooperation”.
