This book is the sixth volume of the six-volume "History of Marxist Historiography," and its main content is the study of Marxist historiography in the United States, Canada, Japan, and other countries, as well as the Soviet Union and Eastern European countries before the collapse of the Soviet Union and the drastic changes in Eastern Europe. Through the development trajectory of Marxist historiography in these countries and regions, we can clearly see the theoretical achievements of Marxist historiography, which enable history to study politics, military, and diplomacy in the past to conduct in-depth research on complex social and economic processes. Marx's theory of classes and class struggle promotes the investigation of capitalism and the state of class and class struggle in various social formations before capitalism.
