China and Africa have a long history of friendship and have always been a community of destiny.The entry of socialism with Chinese characteristics into a new era has had a significant impact on the world and has brought new historical opportunities for Africa's development and China-Africa friendship and cooperation.In recent years, China-Africa relations have maintained a good momentum of development, and China-Africa cooperation has continuously stepped up to a new level.China-Africa political mutual trust has continued to grow, economic and trade cooperation has maintained strong growth, humanistic exchanges and cooperation have been expanding, cooperation has been deepening, and cooperation in international affairs has been strengthened.China-Africa friendship and cooperation in the new era is fully in line with the fundamental interests of the 2.6 billion people on both sides, and fully conforms to the historical trend of world peace, stability, development and prosperity.In the future, China will need Africa even more, and Africa will need China even more.The two sides should adhere to the principles of peace, development, cooperation and win-win cooperation, strengthen complementarity of advantages and achieve common development, and in particular strengthen the interface in three areas: the interface between the Belt and Road Initiative and the African Union's Agenda 2063; the interface between international production capacity cooperation and Africa's industrialisation strategy; and the interface between China's poverty alleviation ideology and experience and Africa's poverty reduction plans.
