本书在深入分析中亚五国和中国西北地区经济发展水平、产业结构变动、对外贸易的区域特征、产业（产品）特征以及它们之间相互贸易的区域和产业特征的基础上，进一步研究了中国西北地区与中亚五国产业和贸易的互补性，以及中国西北地区在中国对中亚贸易中的区位优势。研究结果表明，中国西北地区与中亚产业结构互补性有所下降，但中国西北地区出口对中亚市场的依赖程度较高，双方贸易的互补性十分明显，同吋，西北地区在中国对中亚贸易中具有极强的区位优势。

On the basis of in-depth analysis of the level of economic development of the five Central Asian countries and Northwest China, changes in industrial structure, regional characteristics of foreign trade, industrial (product) characteristics, as well as the regional and industrial characteristics of mutual trade between them, this book further examines the complementarity of industry and trade between Northwest China and the five Central Asian countries, as well as Northwest China's locational advantages in China's trade with Central Asia. The results of the study show that the complementarity between the industrial structure of Northwest China and Central Asia has declined, but the export of Northwest China has a higher degree of dependence on the Central Asian market, and the complementarity of trade between the two sides is very obvious, and the Northwest China has a very strong locational advantage in China's trade with Central Asia.
