本报告是中国村镇银行发展系列研究报告的第二本，在分析2016年以来村镇银行的新发展，如相关政策、资产与业务规模、网点分布之外，重点分析了村镇银行财务绩效和社会绩效，并深入剖析了村镇银行的社区微银行性质及其“立足县域、支农支小”的市场定位，提出村镇银行综合利用金融科技和社区软信息的优势，走智慧型发展道路。本报告特别提出了村镇银行之间发展不平衡以及未来可能出现并购重组的前景。本报告还对七个国内典型案例和一个国外案例进行了剖析。

This report is the second in a series of studies on the development of village banks in China. In addition to analysing new developments in village banks since 2016, such as relevant policies, asset and business scale, and network distribution, it focuses on analysing the financial and social performance of village banks, and provides an in-depth analysis of the nature of village banks as community microbanks and their market positioning of ‘based in counties and supporting agriculture and small businesses’. It proposes that village banks take advantage of the comprehensive use of financial technology and community soft information to follow a path of smart development. This report particularly raises the prospect of unbalanced development among village banks and possible mergers and acquisitions in the future. This report also analyses seven typical domestic cases and one foreign case.
