《中国公共史学集刊》由中国人民大学史学理论研究所于2018年创办，致力于在中国历史学界推进公共史学的发展，提倡理论与实践有机结合，推动历史学在注重基础研究之同时，努力走向人民大众，让历史学成为公共文化产品生产的基础之一。本刊既刊发有关公共史学理论探索的论文，也刊发实践经验介绍和相关评论、调查等稿件。
Founded in 2018 by the Institute of Historical Theory of Renmin University of China, the Journal of Chinese Public History is dedicated to promoting the development of public history in Chinese historiography, advocating the organic combination of theory and practice, and promoting historiography to go to the people while focusing on basic research so that historiography can become one of the bases for the production of public cultural products. The journal publishes papers on theoretical explorations of public history, as well as practical experiences, reviews, surveys and other articles.
