《新中国历史学研究70年》分总论、中国考古学编、中国古代史编、中国近代史编、世界历史编、中国边疆史编、史学理论与史学史编七部分。以中国历史研究院下属六个研究所现有学科为基础，系统总结新中国历史学研究在党和国家坚强领导下的学科发展状况、取得的主要成就、存在的问题以及未来发展方向，揭示历史学发展的内在规律，阐释中国历史学发展的独特道路，为加快构建中国特色哲学社会科学学科体系、学术体系、话语体系贡献力量。该书的出版将为做好中国历史学研究工作提供重要参考。

"70 Years of Historical Research in New China" is divided into seven parts: General Introduction, Chinese Archaeology, Ancient Chinese History, Modern Chinese History, World History, Chinese Frontier History, Historical Theory and Historical History. Based on the existing disciplines of the six institutes under the Chinese Academy of History, this paper systematically summarizes the development status, main achievements, existing problems and future development direction of New China historical research under the strong leadership of the Party and the state, reveals the internal laws of the development of history, explains the unique path of the development of Chinese history, and contributes to accelerating the construction of the discipline system, academic system and discourse system of philosophy and social sciences with Chinese characteristics. The publication of this book will provide an important reference for the study of Chinese history.
