思想政治教育作为一种教育活动,除了具有教育活动所具有的共性特征之外,又以思想政治作为教育内容表现出它的特性。就此作者从本体论、价值论和责任论三个角度展开了系统透视。本体论旨在明确思想政治教育以思想活动作为前提,以教育活动作为统领,以导引政治活动作为目的。价值论不同于目的论和功能论,旨在回答思想政治教育的存在对于施教者和受教者而言分别具有怎样的意义。在思想政治教育责任论的论域内,涉及到了积极形态和消极形态的责任,由此可以从一种新的角度阐释教育与思想政治教育的体系问题。

Ideological and political education, as an educational activity, not only has the common characteristics of educational activities, but also shows its characteristics with ideology and politics as the content of education. The theory of value is different from the theory of purpose and the theory of function, and aims to answer the question of what the existence of ideological and political education means to the educator and the recipient respectively. In the field of the theory of responsibility for ideological and political education, both positive and negative forms of responsibility are involved, which makes it possible to interpret the systemic problems of education and ideological and political education from a new perspective.
