《中国民族地区经济社会调查报告（景宁畲族自治县卷）》以浙江省景宁畲族自治县和闽东（宁德市）畲族乡村的经济、政治、文化、社会、生态建设等“五位一体”的文明建设为基本框架，叙述21世纪初畲族地区的发展。强调以21世纪的畲族自治县、畲族乡村的现实问题为主，注重调研材料与数据之鲜活而有说服力的形态，在如实叙述畲族地区发展的过程中，关注“五位一体”建设中之现实问题的分析与思考。
The Report on Economic and Social Survey of Ethnic Areas in China (Jingning She Autonomous County Volume) takes the “five-in-one” civilization construction of economic, political, cultural, social and ecological construction of the She Autonomous County of Jingning in Zhejiang Province and the She villages in East Fujian Province (Ningde City) as the basic framework, and describes the development of the She areas at the beginning of the 21st century.
