本书围绕城市生态环境整治、城市基础设施建设、绿色城市、人文城市、智慧城市、城市建设投融资模式创新六个方面，选取了国内外20多个城市可持续发展的最佳实践案例，总结其发展经验。可以看出，“一带一路”沿线国家在城市建设方面更加可持续，与联合国可持续发展目标更加契合。同时，通过实施“一带一路”倡议将中国改革开放40年城市发展的经验输出，供“一带一路”沿线国家借鉴。最后，从政治、经济、文化角度提出了城市可持续发展未来愿景，从政策沟通、设施联通、贸易畅通、资金融通、民心相通五个方面建议要加强城市间区域合作，促进国内外城市可持续发展，早日实现联合国可持续发展目标。

Focusing on six aspects, namely, urban ecological environment improvement, urban infrastructure construction, green city, humanistic city, smart city, and innovation of urban construction investment and financing mode, this book selects more than 20 domestic and international best practice cases of sustainable development of cities and summarises their development experience.It can be seen that the countries along the "Belt and Road" are more sustainable in terms of urban construction, which is more in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.At the same time, through the implementation of the Belt and Road Initiative, the experience of China's reform and opening up in urban development over the past 40 years will be exported for the reference of the countries along the Belt and Road.Finally, the future vision of sustainable urban development was put forward from the political, economic and cultural perspectives, and it was suggested that inter-city regional cooperation should be strengthened in five aspects, namely, policy communication, facility connectivity, smooth trade, financial integration, and people-to-people communication, so as to promote the sustainable development of domestic and international cities and achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals at an early date.
