This book basically relies on field research and interviews, and is based on the annual “Belt and Road” questionnaire survey for elites in European countries, with risk assessment as the main research content and research characteristics, and policy recommendations as the highlights of the report, focusing on providing theoretical and practical references for the layout of the “Belt and Road” initiative in Europe. The first chapter of the book introduces the European perspective on the “Belt and Road” initiative in Europe.

The first chapter of this book introduces the European response to the Belt and Road Initiative; the second chapter is a questionnaire survey on the views of European elites on the Belt and Road Initiative; the third chapter introduces the Belt and Road Initiative in Europe. “Chapter 3 introduces the risk assessment of the Belt and Road Initiative in Europe; Chapter 4 puts forward policy recommendations on the European response to the Belt and Road Initiative.
