In the study of Chinese political culture, the introduction of a scientific index system and the display of changes in various indexes through continuous national questionnaire surveys have important reference value for a comprehensive understanding of the basic trend of political culture. The 2012 national questionnaire survey of the Institute of Political Science of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and the 2016 national questionnaire survey of the Institute of Contemporary China Studies of Nankai University are closely related to the Chinese political culture index. This book is one of the results of a comparative study of the results of two questionnaires, focusing on a comprehensive assessment of changes in the political culture index. The political culture index calculated based on the questionnaire survey, as well as the political and cultural patterns reflected and the index differences between different citizen groups, need to be further verified by continuous questionnaire surveys, but the various basic data provided in this book should provide important help for the teaching and research of related issues, and make more people continue to pay attention to the quantitative research results of political science.
