《中国人文社会科学期刊AMI综合评价报告（2018年）》以自建CHSSCD引文数据库、国家广播电视总局年鉴数据、国家哲学社会科学文献中心学术期刊数据库、中国知网等为数据基础，对1291种A刊、164种新刊及68种英刊进行了评价，评出A刊“顶级期刊”5种、“权威期刊”56种、“核心期刊”519种、“扩展期刊”711种，同时评出18种新刊“核心期刊”和9种英刊“核心期刊”。
