Blockchain is a major technology that will affect the development of human society alongside Internet technology. Since the founding of the People's Republic of China more than 70 years ago, the status and role of the circulation industry in the development of the national economy have been continuously improved, the scale and quality of development have been expanding day by day, and the radiation driving role of the circulation industry in the national economy has become increasingly obvious. The application of blockchain technology in the circulation industry has a high degree of coupling. The application scenarios of blockchain technology in the circulation industry include upstream and downstream trade, warehousing and logistics, retail e-commerce, transportation industry collaboration, commodity traceability, circulation entity financing, payment and settlement. The policy suggestions for the integrated development of blockchain technology and modern circulation industry are, first, to establish industry application standards as soon as possible, second, to improve the digital economy supervision system, third, to accelerate the construction of blockchain technology infrastructure, fourth, to train professional talents to increase training, and fifth, to cultivate leading enterprises in technology application.
