Based on the study of the overall framework and main issues of the international development assistance management system of developed countries (such as organizational establishment issues, evaluation policies, innovative financing mechanisms, knowledge cooperation, etc.), this book specifically discusses the foreign aid and management of the United States, Germany, the United Kingdom, France, and Japan, the top five donors of the OECD Development Assistance Committee (DAC), Norway and Sweden, and the multilateral donor European Union and South Korea, a new member of the DAC. Through the study of foreign aid of these countries and organizations, we can grasp the overall characteristics and development trends of foreign aid policy and management in developed countries. Finally, the book also analyzes the effectiveness of foreign aid from developed countries.
