本书所研究的课题是：中国特色社会主义民族理论的哪些内容属对马克思主义民族理论的创新今后如何发展；如何理解和把握“中国特色社会主义民族理论”在民族理论学科中的地位问题。本书梳理了马克思主义民族理论中国化的发展脉络，又用全新的理论视角审视和解读中国特色社会主义民族理论这一中国化的创新成果。

The discipline of "Marxist Ethnic Theory and Policy" of Northwest University for Nationalities is a key discipline of the State Ethnic Affairs Commission. "Research on Marxist Nationality Theory and Practice" is one of the projects planned and constructed by this key discipline in recent years, and "Research on the Sinicization of Marxist Nationality Theory" is one of the series of research results of this project. Some of the contents of this book have been published in different journals as phased research results, some of which have been further revised and improved when the system was completed, and the content of some chapters is the first time to publish and communicate.
