In 1985, he worked in the China Local History Steering Group and served as secretary general, vice president of the China Local History Association, and director of Fangzhi Publishing House. He died in 2013 at the age of 89. This "History of the Land System in the Song Dynasty" is the posthumous manuscript of Mr. Yun Jiaju, written between December 1995 and November 1996. This manuscript was originally part of the History of the Feudal Land System in China (Volume III), but for various reasons it was not published, and this manuscript has been sitting in the drawer of Mr. Yun Jiaju. Because he was busy with the work of the local chronicle steering group, after his retirement, he was unable to read and write due to his poor eyesight, and he was unable to revise and publish until his death. Mr. Yun Jiaju is very knowledgeable, has deep roots in Chinese culture, and is very researched about the history of the Song Dynasty. He has successively published papers such as "The Transfer of Land Ownership in the Two Song Dynasties", "On Several Issues on the Evaluation of Han Kanxuan", "The Management Method of Official Fields in the Five Dynasties and Two Song Dynasties", and participated in the writing of the fifth volume of "Manuscripts of Chinese History", the second volume of "History of Chinese Reclamation", and participated in the collation of "Manuscripts of the Song Meeting". At the end of the 70s, he and Professor Deng Guangming jointly organized the Chinese Song History Research Association, which was established in Shanghai in 1980, which promoted the further development of Song history research. This "History of the Land System in the Song Dynasty" is rich in information, detailed in content, reasonable in structure, well-grounded in analysis, clear in viewpoint, and fluent in writing. This is the masterpiece of his years of intensive research. Before the publication of "History of the Land System in the Song Dynasty", Chen Zhichao, researcher at the Institute of History of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and Professor Deng Xiaonan of the Department of History of Peking University were invited to carefully review it, and they unanimously affirmed and praised. During the review process, Comrade Zhang Yibing, a doctoral student of Deng Xiaonan, carefully checked every historical citation in the book, corrected the printing errors and individual citation omissions, ensured the accuracy of each cited historical material, and further improved the quality of the book. At the same time, in order to respect Mr. Jia Ju, the whole book will not be changed to any other and will remain as it is. The book is accompanied by two articles written by Mr. Jia Ju. One is "Reminiscing about the Past of the Four Teachers of Qian Bin", through recalling the care and guidance of the fourth teacher of Qian Bin, we can understand Mr. Qi's early study and academic path. The other is "Deeply Remembering Mr. Meng Wentong", in which he highly praised the academic research and achievements of his teacher Mr. Meng Wentong, and put forward many of his incisive insights in the process of commenting, reflecting Mr. Jia Ju's extensive and profound knowledge. As for Mr. Jia Ju's life achievements and contributions, please refer to "Deeply Remembering Comrade Jia Ju" published in the third issue of China Local Chronicle in 2013, which is attached below.(AI翻译)
