This book focuses on the important adjustments and changes that have taken place in the political, security, economic and social fields in the Middle East and important countries since the 21st century, especially since the "Arab upheaval". The "Political Developments in the Middle East" section focuses on political developments in countries such as Turkey, Iran, Saudi Arabia and Libya in the context of the macro-political transformation of the Middle East; "Security in the Middle East" focuses on the security of the Middle East and its governance, the situation of terrorism, the Arab-Israeli issue, and the security problems of Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan; "Middle East Economic Development" focuses on the energy and oil industries and unemployment in the Middle East; "Middle East Social Development" focuses on scientific and technological innovation, urbanization, sectarianism, and youth issues in Middle Eastern countries.
