于沛，中国社会科学院世界历史研究所研究员，原所长、中国史学会原副会长。中国社会科学院大学（研究生院）教授，博士生导师。1992年起领取国务院颁发政府特殊津贴。中央“马工程”重点课题《史学概论》首席专家、《世界现代史》责任首席专家。国家社科基金世界史学科评议组成员，国家教材委员会高校哲学社会科学专家委员会委员。近年出版的专著主要有：《世界历史：中国世界史研究的产生和发展》《史学思潮和社会思潮》《历史认识概论》《经济全球化和文化》等。
