On September 2-3, 2016, the Institute of Logic and Cognition of Sun Yat-sen University and the Department of Philosophy of National Taiwan University jointly held the first Cross-Strait Symposium on the History of Chinese Logic in Guangzhou to discuss the methodological issues of Chinese logic history research. This collection of papers is a selection of 23 papers from the conference. Among them, the first 10 papers carry out methodological discussions at the macro level, while the other papers are based on specific texts, or adopt new methods to develop new interpretations of classical logical historical materials, or expand the research scope of Chinese logic history based on new logical concepts and richer historical materials.
