由刘培育、杲文川主编的《中国哲学社会科学发展历程回忆》两年前已经出版八卷，收录了中国社会科学院老一辈学者的回忆文章。《中国哲学社会科学发展历程回忆(续编1集)》为之前八卷的续编第1集，值得一提的是，主编还搜集了当时学术活动的照片，使读者可以直观地感受当时的情景，无疑这些照片是宝贵的历史资料。

Recollections of the Development of Philosophy and Social Sciences in China, edited by Liu Cultivation and Gao Wenchuan, was published two years ago in eight volumes, containing reminiscences of older scholars of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. Recollections of the Development of Philosophy and Social Sciences in China (Sequel 1) is the first sequel to the previous eight volumes. It is worth mentioning that the editor-in-chief has also collected photos of academic activities at that time, so that readers can visualize the scene at that time, and undoubtedly, these photos are invaluable historical materials.
