本书是第一部以中国古代文言小说的诗化特征史作为研究对象的专著。中国古代小说最突出的民族特色就是它的诗化特征，这一特征在文言小说中有着充分表现。本书从唐前、唐代、宋元、明清四个阶段，叙述并评价了文言小说诗化特征在不同阶段的不同面貌。对于《世说新语》《游仙窟》《玉梨魂》等文言小说作品，本书也从诗化特征的角度对其艺术特征进行了全新的叙述。

This book is the first monograph to focus on the history of the poetic characteristics of ancient Chinese literary novels. The most prominent national characteristic of ancient Chinese novels is its poetic characteristic, which is fully expressed in literary novels. 侯桂运:（著）

侯桂运（1969-），男，祖籍高密，生长于昌邑。文学博士，潍坊学院文学院副教授，主要从事中国古代文学和中国古典文献学的教学与研究。参加国家级项目研究2项、省部级项目研究5项，主持山东省社科普及重点项目1项。在《山东师范大学学报》《求索》等学术刊物上发表论文二十余篇。参加点校了《李澄中全集》《律吕正声校注》，另著有社会科学普及著作《看故事学逻辑》。
