The book is divided into four parts. The first part is thinking on green development strategy, which discusses the necessity and related ideas of China's national strategy to address climate change, the uncertainty and technology and path locking problems that must be paid attention to in China's energy development strategy, and makes a dialectical analysis of the rationality and shortcomings of China's energy conservation goals. The second part discusses the path of green development, including analyzing the mitigation path of China's per capita carbon emissions from the two aspects of economic development and technological progress, discussing the impact of agricultural production on the environment, the development path of low-carbon trade in China, the development model of water-saving trade, and the green development practice of Pu'er City, Yunnan. The third part discusses several basic issues that need to be paid attention to in formulating green development policies, including environmental value assessment, efficiency (productivity) evaluation methods including environmental factors, and internationally accepted greenhouse gas emission calculation methods. The fourth part is an overall review, outlook and case analysis of China's green development policies, including the overall green development policies, the impact of water price adjustment on industrial water efficiency, the structural and macro effects of carbon emission intensity constraints, and the impact of carbon tariffs under different taxation standards on China's economy and carbon emissions.
