李令福，男，1963年生，安徽省萧县人。华东师范大学历史学本科毕业，陕西师范大学历史学博士毕业，现为陕西师范大学西北历史环境与经济社会发展研究院研究员、博士生导师，兼任中国古都学会副会长、陕西省科普作家协会副理事长、西安历史文化名城研究会副会长、历史地理专业委员会委员、陕西师范大学西安学研究所所长等。主要研究中国古都学与历史文化名城保护、西安学等，参与西安市城市建设，主持一系列实践应用性的科学研究。出版专著10部，编著书籍6部，发表论文100余篇，获得陕西省哲学社会科学优秀成果二等奖2项、三等奖1项。主持国家社科基金课题2项、教育部人文社会科学重点研究基地课题1项。
