Although there are many achievements in the value interpretation of socialism with Chinese characteristics from the perspective of civil rights, most of them are aimed at specific problems in specific fields and lack a broad overall vision. This book provides a more in-depth and systematic study of this issue. On the basis of clarifying the basic categories of "citizenship", "rights" and "values", this book provides a value interpretation of socialism with Chinese characteristics at both theoretical and practical levels. At the theoretical level, the multiple value relationships between civil rights and socialism with Chinese characteristics are discussed from four dimensions: the creation and formation of socialism with Chinese characteristics, the development momentum, the value goal and value identity. At the practical level, according to the dilemma of reform and the requirements of governance modernization, this paper analyzes the current performance, impact and governance of the problem of relative poverty of civil rights. The content involves the modernization of the party's ruling model, the transformation of the driving force of economic development, the improvement of democracy and the rule of law, the cultivation of civic culture, and the cultivation and protection of society.
