This book is one of the academic achievements of the author's long-term follow-up investigation and research on the ancient festival. The book uses the theoretical perspectives of anthropology, ethnology, and folklore to make an ethnographic "deep description" of the Yaobai Dongzhai Ancient Festival in a long-term space-time field. Through an in-depth investigation of the history and current situation of the festival, as well as its practical experience and successes and failures in the current changes and development, this paper discusses the modern changes of traditional festivals of ethnic minorities.
