本书以当代中国电影发展史为基本脉络,以电影中的日本人形象为考察对象,在文学、电影学、美学、社会学、心理学的观照下,借鉴参考已有的研究成果,对当代中国电影中的“日本人形象”进行梳理、总结,力求在中日关系语境下,通过“异国形象”来反观国人对日本认知变化的历程。既做到在中国电影发展的历史环境下对日本人形象存在及变化的统观,也做到对典型电影单片的个性化文本分析。作者还着重探讨了在中日关系语境下当代中国电影中日本人形象的成因。无论是作家进行文学创作,还是电影人进行电影制作,都很难摆脱以本国文化为中心的立场,所以电影主体创作的银幕形象会带着一定程度的“本国思想”和“自我意识”,而这些思想和意识随着历史演进、文化变革、政治经济发展以及中日关系的亲疏冷暖而不断地发生着变化,这些因素对于电影中日本人形象的塑造也产生一定的影响。在现象和本质之间,作者对中日关系语境下当代中国电影中日本人形象的成因予以剖析。

Taking the history of contemporary Chinese film as the basic context, taking the image of Japanese people in film as the object of investigation, under the observation of literature, film studies, aesthetics, sociology and psychology, and drawing on existing research results, this book sorts out and summarizes the "Japanese image" in contemporary Chinese films, and strives to reflect on the process of Chinese people's perception of Japan through "foreign images" in the context of Sino-Japanese relations. It not only achieves a general view of the existence and changes of Japanese images in the historical environment of Chinese film development, but also achieves personalized text analysis of typical film single films. The author also focuses on the origins of the image of Japanese people in contemporary Chinese cinema in the context of Sino-Japanese relations.
