中国农工民主党（简称农工党）是以医药卫生、人口资源和生态环境领域高中级知识分子为主、具有政治联盟特点、致力于中国特色社会主义事业的参政党，是中国人民政治协商会议的组成单位。自1930年8月9日成立以来，经过了80多年的风雨历程，走过了从爱国主义到新民主主义和社会主义的历史道路，同中国共产党建立了深厚情谊和亲密合作关系。本书对农工党的历史和发展情况进行了全面的介绍。

The Chinese Peasants' and Workers' Democratic Party (CPAWDP) is a political party with a political alliance featuring mainly senior and middle-ranking intellectuals in the fields of medicine and health, population and resources, and ecology and environment, dedicated to the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics, and a constituent unit of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC).Since its founding on 9 August 1930, it has gone through more than 80 years of trials and tribulations, travelled the historical path from patriotism to new democracy and socialism, and established a deep friendship and close cooperation with the Communist Party of China.This book provides a comprehensive introduction to the history and development of the Agricultural and Labour Party.
