网络时代的科学交流环境对当代科学家获取、甄别和发布信息的能力提出了新的挑战。抓住“相互建构”这个STS研究的理论前沿,采用理论与实证相结合的方法,本书批判考察了网络时代科学交流体系的演变及其产生的新问题,并对该过程中不同行动者之间的互动和博弈过程进行了深入研究。通过分析网络时代科学知识的共享过程考察了在线知识资源的重新配置及其实质,进而揭示了知识资源的重构对于当前的科学共同体乃至整个科学知识生产过程所产生的重大影响。对于我国这样的科学后发国家来说,积极推动科学信息的开放获取,改变我国科学界对于国外商业数据库的外刊依赖现状,构建多元复合的学术交流体系,从而提高我国科学界的知识获取乃至科学创新能力,是一项机遇与挑战并存的事业。

The scientific communication environment in the Internet age poses new challenges to the ability of contemporary scientists to obtain, identify and publish information. Grasping the theoretical frontier of STS research, "mutual construction", and adopting the method of combining theory and empirical evidence, this book critically examines the evolution of scientific communication system in the network era and the new problems it generates, and conducts in-depth research on the interaction and game process between different actors in the process. By analyzing the sharing process of scientific knowledge in the network era, the reallocation of online knowledge resources and its essence are investigated, and the major impact of the reconstruction of knowledge resources on the current scientific community and even the entire scientific knowledge production process is revealed. For a scientifically latecomer country like China, it is a cause with both opportunities and challenges to actively promote open access to scientific information, change the current situation of China's scientific community's dependence on foreign commercial databases, and build a diversified and complex academic exchange system, thereby improving the knowledge acquisition and even scientific innovation ability of China's scientific community.
