With the theme of "The Literary World and Ethnic Writing", this collection explores the issues of ethnic writing, cultural inheritance and identity in China and the English-speaking world. The anthology is divided into four parts. The first part, "Ethnic Writing," studies the ethnic literature of ethnic minorities in southwest China. Focusing on the "Liu Sanjie Narrative" of the Zhuang people in Guangxi and the "Narrative of Chi You" of the Miao people in Guizhou, the method of cultural anthropology is used to study the expressive value and structure of the oral culture of the Zhuang and Miao ethnic groups on the basis of fieldwork and literature analysis. The second part, "World Literature", takes Chinese and Western writers' works and literary history as the research object, and analyzes the construction of multi-ethnic literary history in the United States, as well as the identity and regional identity in the works of British and Chinese writers. The third part, "Interdisciplinarity", sorts, reviews and reflects on the research methods and paradigms of literary anthropology, an emerging interdisciplinary discipline. The fourth part, "Critical Dialogues," reviews scholarly monographs on literary and anthropological studies.
