本书作者分别从英国脱欧、欧洲人如何看待“一带一路”倡议，以及中国大学生对欧盟的认知等多视角讨论了中欧关系发展中的不确定因素，特别是来自四川大学的几位作者报告了他们在中国各地23所大学、近6千大学生中所做的对中欧关系、欧盟认知的调查问卷结果的分析，表明当下中国大学生尽管对欧盟有好感，但并没有对欧盟有较好的认知。
In particular, several authors from Sichuan University reported on their analysis of the results of a questionnaire on China-EU relations and EU perception among nearly 6,000 university students across China, indicating that although Chinese college students have a good impression of the EU, they do not have a good understanding of the EU.
