本书是中国社会科学院国家全球战略智库承接的中宣部关于“一带一路”建设的重大研究项目的最终成果，也是中国社会科学院国家全球战略智库2016年立项的“国际战略”特殊学科建设的阶段性成果之一。该专著主要以党的十八大以来，特别是“一带一路”倡议推出以来为背景，重点探讨新时期中国特色大国外交的内涵、模式与实现路径，目的是为“一带一路”的推进提供力所能及的智力支持。

"Major Country Diplomacy with Chinese Characteristics: Connotation and Path" is the final result of the major research project on the construction of the "Belt and Road" undertaken by the National Global Strategy Think Tank of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and it is also one of the phased achievements of the special discipline construction of "International Strategy" approved by the National Global Strategy Think Tank in 2016. 王灵桂:（著）

王灵桂，1967年11月生，山东诸城人。现为中国社会科学院亚太与全球战略研究院党委书记、副院长、研究员。自2015年年底，同时担任中国社会科学院国家全球战略智库常务副理事长兼秘书长。主要研究方向包括全球战略、反恐研究、伊斯兰教研究、中东问题研究、港澳问题研究等多个领域。任职期间，共计发表400余篇（部）作品，约计1500万字，其中部分研究成果分别荣获中国社会科学院对策研究特等奖、一等奖等；获国务院发展研究中心一等奖5次。2016年被授予中国社会科学院2013—2015年度科研岗位先进个人称号。曾任多个重要项目的首席专家，并在国家重要政府部门中担任学术兼职。
