This book explores how global governance has changed, and its multifaceted shifts relate to the decline of the liberal world order. How the international power landscape has changed, what does it mean for the provision of international public goodsIn the policy areas of financial stability, security, the environment, human rights, and public health, and who are the actors who provide international public goods, what institutional and legal structures are used to manage the provision of public goodsThe chapters in this book answer these questions from different disciplinary backgrounds, including culture, international relations, finance, and management, through an examination of various policy areas in China, Latin America, and Central and Latin America. Much of the book was presented at the 2018 Annual Meeting of the Federation of Latin American Universities in Fudan (FLAUC) in Lima, Peru, and the 2019 Shanghai Forum FLAUC Academic Roundtable. The Fudan-Latin American University Consortium, the author's team, is a platform for exchange, communication and cooperation between Fudan University and 12 of Latin America's most prestigious universities from 6 countries.
