本书是作者从事中国古代文学、国际汉学、对外汉语教学研究几十年来在国内外学术期刊发表的论文的一个选集。全书分“古代文学史论”“古典·红学探谜”“古典·聊斋撷英”“海外汉学·汉文学史论”凡4个部分、1个附篇，共25篇。“古代文学史论”6篇，是对中国古代文学史宏观层面上的一些纵向的或断代的重要专题的研究；“古典·红学探谜”6篇和“古典·聊斋撷英”6篇，是对作为世界汉学“显学”的红学即曹雪芹和《红楼梦》研究、聊斋学即蒲松龄和《聊斋志异》研究的发展历程及其至今存在的悬谜、疑问的梳理与解析；“海外汉学·汉文学史论”6篇，则是对国外汉学，包括国外汉文学、汉语言文化发生发展本身及其研究的研究。这里主要是对历史上朝鲜半岛、琉球群岛人在中国本土和/或在其家乡本国的汉文学创作、汉语言文化教学传承和发展情况的考察研究。1个附篇，是对近代中国政府坚持在现代大学中进行国学教育的一个案例——中德政府合办青岛特别高等专门学堂的中文教育的研究。

This book is a selection of papers published in academic journals at home and abroad for decades in the author's research on ancient Chinese literature, international sinology, and teaching Chinese as a foreign language. The book is divided into 4 parts and 1 appendix, including "History of Ancient Literature", "Exploration of Classical Red Studies", "Classical: Liaozhai Zhaiying", and "Overseas Sinology and History of Chinese Literature", a total of 25 articles. The 6 articles of "History of Ancient Literature" are studies on some important topics at the macro level of ancient Chinese literary history. The 6 articles of "Classical Red Studies Mystery" and the 6 articles of "Classical: Liaozhai Zhaiying" are the combing and analysis of the development process of the research of Cao Xueqin and "Dream of Red Mansions" as the "manifest studies" of Sinology in the world, and the research of Pu Songling and "Liaozhai Zhiyi", as well as the mysteries and questions that exist so far. The six articles "Overseas Sinology and the History of Chinese Literature" are studies of foreign sinology, including the occurrence and development of foreign Chinese literature, Chinese language and culture, and their research. This is mainly an investigation and research on the historical Chinese literature creation, Chinese language and culture teaching inheritance and development of the Korean Peninsula and Ryukyu Islanders in China and/or in their home countries. One appendix is a study of the Chinese government's insistence on Chinese culture education in modern universities in modern times, the Chinese education of the Qingdao Special Higher Education Specialized School jointly run by the Chinese and German governments.
