本书对中国教育学在多元文化背景下的发展状况进行了较深入的研究。作者首先提出了“中国教育学问题”,特别指出了20世纪初“中国的教育学”在尚未萌芽时面对世界各国教育学理论的涌入和特殊的社会背景而凸现出来的中外关系问题;其次,对“本土化的教育学”、“中国特色的教育学”等问题进行了分析;再次,从学科发展的角度探讨了中国教育学的学科危机与研究的新空间;最后,就中国教育学的生成和基本形态提出了自己独到的见解。

This book is an in-depth study of the development of Chinese pedagogy in a multicultural context. The author firstly puts forward the “problem of Chinese pedagogy”, especially pointing out the problem of Sino-foreign relations that emerged at the beginning of the 20th century when “Chinese pedagogy” had not yet sprouted in the face of the influx of pedagogical theories from other countries around the world and the special social background. Secondly, he analyzes the issues of “localized pedagogy” and “pedagogy with Chinese characteristics”; thirdly, he discusses the disciplinary crisis of Chinese pedagogy and the new space for research from the perspective of the development of the discipline; and finally, he puts forward his own unique insights on the generation and basic form of Chinese pedagogy.
