Colleges and universities are the core subjects of management research in China, and their professional research capabilities and levels will greatly affect the development process of management in China. Based on the 2012-2013 management research evaluation report, this study further clarifies the structure and connotation of paper classification, compares the data of 2014 and 2015, and compares the management of more than 250 colleges and universities in management, business administration and its sub-disciplines, namely enterprise theory and management theory, strategic management, financial management, marketing management, innovation management, organization and operation management, human resource management, corporate culture and social responsibility. and the research strength in management science and engineering were evaluated in detail, and the changes in the research power index and ranking were evaluated, which provided a reference for Chinese colleges and universities to improve the research ability of management.
