This book is based on interviews with senior China experts from the Institute of Far Eastern Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and has been completed for four consecutive years since 2009 with the assistance of the Institute of Far Eastern Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences. This book originated from the "Knowledge Community Research on China" project conducted by the Department of Political Science of Taiwan University Chinese mainland and the Teaching and Research Center for Cross-Strait Relations, which has been launched in Japan, South Korea, India and other countries, and has been extended to Eurasian countries. Among them, the interview with contemporary Japanese Chinese scholars, "The History of Contemporary Japanese Chinese Scholars: Interviews with Chinese Scholars (I)", was published in October 2011, which includes interviews with ten famous contemporary Japanese Chinese scholars. Interviews with Chinese scholars in India have been completed and published in a collection (English). Other interviews and related studies will be released in the future. The interview with Russian Chinese scholars originated from the visit to Russia by the Foreign Research Center for Chinese Studies of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. In September 2008, Director He Peizhong led a delegation to the Russian Academy of Sciences to perform annual exchanges, and Professor Shi Zhiyu of Taiwan University of China participated in the visit activities, during which he informed the Far Eastern Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences of the content of the plan. Professor Ganshen was initially in charge of the interview program for Chinese scientists at the Institute of Far Eastern Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences, who was succeeded by Professor Gorbunova after his death in 2011. In addition to the Far Eastern Institute, the Institute of Oriental Studies was headed by Golovachev, a professor at the Institute of Oriental Studies, under the contact of Director He Peizhong. To date, the Institute has completed 16 interviews and continues to expand its scope. The translation of the interview transcript was done by scholars from both sides of the Taiwan Strait. This book includes interviews with 13 contemporary Russian Chinese scholars, which are only part of interviews with Russian experts on China, and the rest are being translated and proofread. After the translation of the interview was completed, Professor He Peizhong read through the whole book, unified the translation, and corrected some problems caused by unfamiliar majors in the subject. Gao Yuan verified and unified the Chinese translated names of the interviewees. This book is based on the recording of interviews, and because some of the interviewees are old, it is inevitable that the recounting of historical events, historical figures and time will be inaccurate. During the translation process, on the basis of respecting my own account, some obvious errors were corrected, and transliteration was used for the characters involved in the interviewer's conversation that could be verified and those that could not be verified. Therefore, it is inevitable that there are inaccuracies in the text, and I hope that readers will point them out after discovering them. The editors would like to express their sincere thanks. He Peizhong, Shi Zhiyu, Titarenko, Gorbunova, January 2014(AI翻译)
