The report of the 18th National Congress clearly proposed to "build an innovation system of philosophy and social sciences". The construction of the evaluation system of philosophy and social sciences is an important link in the "construction of philosophy and social science innovation system", and the evaluation of humanities and social science journals is an important part of the evaluation system of philosophy and social sciences. With the continuous growth of the number of journals and the emergence of new forms of journals such as electronic journals and open access journals, scientific evaluation of humanities and social science journals is of great significance to correct academic atmosphere, improve research level, and promote academic exchanges. This report is divided into four parts: Part I: Evaluation of Chinese Social Science Journals: Current Situation, Problems, and Recommendations. Based on the analysis of the evaluation results of major journals at home and abroad, it is pointed out that the evaluation of existing humanities and social science journals has problems such as ideological attribute evaluation indicators are not prominent, the openness and transparency of evaluation data need to be strengthened, the qualitative evaluation methods need to be improved, and the evaluation theoretical basis needs to be improved, and then suggestions for improving these problems are put forward. Part II: Comprehensive Evaluation Index System of Chinese Literature and Social Science Journals. In response to the questions raised in the first part, the Chinese Social Sciences Evaluation Center proposed the "Comprehensive Evaluation Index System of Chinese Social Science Journals". This index system is in line with the journal editing and publishing process, emphasizing academic evaluation, adding ideological attribute indicators, and introducing a deduction mechanism for evaluation and scoring, which not only attaches importance to the evaluation of journals, but also pays more attention to the guidance of journals. Part III: Development of the 2014 Evaluation Report of Chinese Literature and Social Science Journals. This part not only introduces the subject classification method, source and collection time of journals in this evaluation activity, but also puts forward the classification methods of journals in this evaluation activity: top, authoritative, core and extended, and explains the classification method of each level. Part IV: Evaluation results of Chinese and social science journals in 2014. This part adopts the comprehensive evaluation index system of Chinese and social science journals to evaluate 733 humanities and social science journals in China, and a total of 17 top journals, 40 authoritative journals, 430 core journals and 246 extended journals are evaluated.(AI翻译)
