Taking the three major time nodes of "New China, New Period, and New Century" as the coordinates, this book takes the evolution of the main academic trend of ancient literary research in the past 70 years as the main line, first of all, the establishment of a new academic tradition in the early years of the founding of the People's Republic of China, the prosperity of the main tide of sociology, the avant-garde protrusion of aesthetic consciousness in the academic transformation after reform and opening up, the extensive influence of new method fever, the sustained prosperity of cultural criticism, the theoretical exploration of literary historiography, the inner return of the literary standard, and the century-old reflection at the turn of the century, and then takes the literature collation and research as the cornerstone.
